The ruins of the former hotel, the Blue Lagoon Hotel, situated in Nilaveli in north eastern Sri Lanka, a tropical paradise ruined by the war. The hotel buildings were taken over by the Sri Lankan Navy and turned in to a military camp, later to be abandoned after the war ended in 2009.
