In the swamps behind the villages of Telwatte and Peraliya, I came across two men making illegal alcohol. Close by them laid the remains from one of the victims of the tsunami, one of many. Nonchalantly one of the men picked up the skull and tossed it into the river, from which they used the water for their alcohol.
